Founders Live San Diego: The Value of Early Feedback

Last week, we attended Founders Live in San Diego. Entrepreneurs pitched their ideas in 90 seconds, followed by live audience feedback. Seeing people sharing their ideas and receiving immediate, constructive input was inspiring.

Reflecting on the event and our experience with our clients, we recognized the importance of testing ideas early at these events, using prototypes. Of course, we know that many entrepreneurs have had difficulty pitching their ideas to investors, just like in the early days of Airbnb or Uber. The beauty of this type of event is the opportunity to receive early feedback, helping to shift, refine, and strengthen their ideas.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we're excited to participate in more of these events. We saw how entrepreneurs can tell a story and what components make an idea great. It truly inspired us to imagine pitching our ideas—why not?
