PlayerGo

Industrial Design and Packaging

We have partnered with BlueTees and their Industrial Design team to develop and maintain a coherent design language for current and future products. One of our successful collaborations is PlayerGo, a Bluetooth Golf GPS speaker for golfers on the move.

PlayerGo attaches easily to golf carts via metal pillars and features a lanyard for connection to golf bags and backpacks. Its compact size and portability are enhanced by side-organized buttons, leaving the front nearly free of components. The front features a single cross-tees action button, allowing golfers to track distances via GPS and access detailed game data through the BlueTees app.

The BlueTees product family consistently embraces the pill shape as its foundational design, symbolizing a golf ball's trajectory from point A to B. With PlayerGo, we explored various orientations of this shape during the ideation process.

A crucial aspect of BlueTees products is the approachability of the form and the materials used. This factor played a central role in determining the final direction of the product.

One of the tools employed in our ideation process is the utilization of 2D vector views. This approach allows us to leverage the primary dimensions of the product and its components, enabling us to efficiently experiment with various forms, details, material combinations, and more within a short timeframe.
