Syncwise GPS is a fleet vehicle management device designed for seamless installation. During the client briefing, there was a clear directive to embody an automotive aesthetic, setting it apart from competitors and emphasizing its automotive industry compatibility.
The product also offers a modem base version, which utilizes the same design concept on a larger scale. This expansion ensures consistency in aesthetics and maintains cohesive branding across different product variations.
During the ideation process, the octagon shape emerged as the most exciting option due to its ability to maintain a significant internal volume while conveying a sense of direction and movement.
To ensure ease of use, we added an oblong hole on each side of the device to facilitate quick and easy screw positioning.
To maximize protection from the elements, we added aluminum parts at both the top and bottom of the unit to regulate working temperatures and provide adequate waterproofing.
