Golfing is evolving into a mainstream sport with a growing appeal among younger audiences. In response, companies are increasingly investing in speakers equipped with GPS to enhance the player’s experience by providing real-time data while also creating a more engaging environment.
Yamaha Golf, the leading supplier of golf carts in the U.S., recognized this trend and approached us to develop a speaker that could seamlessly attach to their existing dashboard. Beyond playing music, the speaker pairs with an app to give players live game status updates. Additionally, it offers geolocation features for golf courses to track cart locations and monitor various vehicle metrics.
For this project, we also developed an app that enhances the user experience with features that maximize the speaker's functionality on the golf course.
